Police Log

There was a two vehicle accident yesterday evening at Beer Tree Crossing. No further information is available.

Gila County Sheriff’s Deputies and medical personnel responded to a suicide threat at a residence on Broadway. The person was taken to the hospital. A crisis team was called and weapons were taken from the residence for safe keeping.

Globe Police received a call about a woman who was passed out in her car at Shining Times Car Wash. 19 year old Rachel Green was arrested and jailed for possession and sale of narcotics.

23 year old Kelly McClain was arrested for theft yesterday afternoon at Walmart.

22 year old Amanda Statham was arrested last night for shoplifting at Walmart.

Officers located a vehicle that was reported stolen yesterday morning at a business on Russell Road. The case is pending further investigation.

Tucson Police arrested 30 year old Kirk Butler of San Carlos on failure to appear warrants for issuing a bad check.

Gila County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft report taken at a residence in Pueblo Heights Mobile Home Park.

A citizen in Globe reported a telephone scam in which a caller tells you that you’ve won a new car. To receive the car you have to purchase Walmart gift cards. The Gila County Sheriff’s Office reminds you to be cautious when receiving calls requiring you to make a purchase in order to receive a prize.
