Police Log

About 1:00 this morning Globe Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Haskins Road. When the officers arrived they found the vehicle abandoned. Two people are believed to have fled the area on foot. The case is pending further investigation.

Nobody was hurt in an accident Friday afternoon on US 70. One driver was cited for failure to control a vehicle to avoid an accident.

Miami Police arrested 22 year old Vinson Barcon for disorderly conduct, assault and DUI.

Globe Police arrested 3 people last night after a disturbance on Blake Street. 39 year old Carl North, 19 year old Desiree Robles and 29 year old Tina Lopez were charged with disorderly conduct.

44 year old Rethema Long and 29 year old Anna May were arrested last night for shoplifting at Fry’s.

46 year old Joseph Root was arrested yesterday for shoplifting at the Hill Street Safeway.

55 year old Yvonne Alvarado was arrested for DUI.

On Saturday 46 year old Darvin Kozie was arrested for criminal trespass at the Santee Circle K.

45 year old Charles Zamora was arrested for domestic assault and domestic violence after a disturbance at a residence on Walliman Road.

28 year old Cory Tober was charged with domestic violence/disorderly conduct after a disturbance at Copper Country Mobile Home Park.

Two people were arrested late Friday night at a residence on Mesquite Street. Desiree Valenzuela and Robert Magana had outstanding warrants and were placed in the back of a patrol car. Magana escaped and fled on foot. Officers were unable to locate him. Valenzuela was booked into the Gila County Jail.

Officers are investigating a burglary at a residence on Sutherland; a burglary at a residence on East Ash; and a theft at a business on US 70.

Mesa Police arrested 38 year old Gabriel Aguilar of Globe on a child support warrant.

Gila County Sheriff’s office arrested 54 year old Ronald Bates on a warrant for aggravated DUI.

Deputies are investigating a theft at a business on Highway 60; a theft at a residence on Locomotive Drive; a theft on Broadway; and a burglary at a residence on Walliman Road.
