The virtual Arizona Experience website was launched Tuesday at a special Centennial event in Phoenix.
The website features interactive, multimedia content from nearly 300 content providers.
It was created in just three months, largely by the Arizona Geological Society. Each month for the next year they will introduce a major theme. March’s theme will be Mines and Mineral Resources.
The site is supported by Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold Foundation as a presenting sponsor with additional funding from the Helios Education Foundation.
