Miami Town Council meets Monday at 6:30pm. The Council will consider an Intergovernmental Agreement with Gila County to purchase the Cobre Valley Community Transit building and property on Sullivan Street.
They will also consider a recommendation from the Genesis Board to spend about $700 from the Genesis Special Event Fund for flowers for up to 10 light poles.
The Council may possibly approve a new project to establish Community Gardens and Natural Vegetation to help beautify Miami.
They may also approve the use of the trolley or transit van to run during the Boomtown Spree.
The Council will go into Executive Session to discuss pending litigation with the Tri City Fire District.
