In honor of Earth Day, the Russell Gulch Landfill is accepting greenwaste on Saturday at no charge. This is to encourage residents to clear their property of weeds and brush in preparation for wildfire season.
Greenwaste includes tree limbs, brush, grass clippings and leaves.
The landfill’s summer hours are 6;am to 4:pm Monday through Saturday
