Police Log

One driver was cited for failure to control his vehicle after a two vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in the area of South Hill Street.

Nobody was hurt in a two vehicle accident Saturday in the area of South Fourth Street.

No injuries were reported in an accident late Friday morning at Main and Highway 60. One driver was cited for failure to control his vehicle and one car was towed from the scene.

Two people were arrested after a disturbance last night at a residence on Kinnemur Avenue. 19 year old Kevin Swedick and 19 year old Candice Plant were charged with disorderly conduct.

29 year old Matthew Widner was cited and released last night for driving with a suspended license.

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33 year old Joseph Martinez on Saturday for agravated DUI.

39 year old Luis Sanchez was arrested Friday for kidnapping in connection with a domestic incident on Huie Street.

48 year old Thomas Hogan was charged with disorderly conduct after a fight in the area of Windy Hill.

22 year old Lacey Compton was arrested on a failure to comply warrrant for possession and use of drug paraphernalia

33 year old Francisco Curiel was arrested on a child support warrant.

Deputies are investigating a theft report taken on Globe Avenue; a theft report taken at a residence on Dooley Drive; and a reported burglary on Calle de Loma.

Globe Police arrested two people for shoplifting Friday afternoon at Walmart. 22 year old Julena Upshaw and 22 year old Amador Hadley were booked, cited and released.

Officers are investigating a report of a broken vehicle window in a business parking lot on North Broad Street.
