Police Log

There was a fire yesterday afternoon on Gordon Street. The fire was contained to the yard.

Globe Police arrested 47 year old Robert Holy yesterday morning for criminal trespass at the Globe Safeway. He was booked and released on his own recognizance. Holy was arrested again a few hours later for an outstanding warrant and booked into the Gila County Jail.

40 year old Mary Cheever of Mesa was arrested Wednesday morning for criminal damage after causing a disturbance at the carnival next to Fry’s. Cheever was arrested again Wednesday night, this time for disorderly conduct at a business on Highway 60.

26 year old Randall Monroe of Tempe was arrested for DUI Wednesday night after an officer was dispatched to a disabled vehicle at a business on East Ash.

Two people were arrested during a traffic stop late Wednesday night. 27 year old Joseph Martinez was charged with consuming alcohol inside a motor vehicle. 33 year old Letha Williams was charged with aggravated DUI.

Officers are investigating an assault at a business on Highway 60; an attempted burglary at a business on Maple Street; illegal dumping at Hospital Drive and Russell Road; and a theft at a residence on North Bancroft.

Yesterday the Gila County Sheriff’s office arrested 21 year old Dixie Williams on a probation violation warrant for attempted trafficking in stolen property.

24 year old Mariah Taraba was arrested on a contempt of court warrant for aggravated assault.
