The Miami Memorial Library kicks off its Summer Reading Program
this Friday at 1:pm with a performance by Arizona Rick, the “Magical Balloon
Making Cowboy.” It features storytelling, magic and games, all with balloons.
Applications for Miami’s Summer Reading Program are now
available at the library. The summer program starts Wednesday, June 6 and runs
for six weeks until July 13.
On Wednesdays, there will be a program for school aged
children with stories, games, reading prizes and snacks.
The Arizona Story Hour is on Thursdays from 2 to 3, with
story time and treats for preschoolers.
And on Fridays at 2:pm there will be cartoons, a children’s
movie and popcorn.
