Nobody was hurt in a hit and run accident yesterday evening
on South Broad Street. The case is under investigation.
Someone tried to take several large pieces of copper from
the BHP mine site. The weight of the copper turned out to be too heavy for them
to continue with the theft. More than 200 pounds of copper was recovered.
Miami Police referred five juveniles to juvenile authorities
after several fireworks were set off at the Miami Town Park.
Miami Police are investigating a damaged window at a local
business. The hole in the window was almost perfectly round and the size of a
small basketball. No property was taken.
Globe Police are investigating criminal damage at a
residence on Bancroft and a theft from a
bus on East South Street.
A Gila County School Resource Officer took a report of a
stolen i-pad from Miami High School.
