The first program of the season in the Miami Hardscrabble
series will be presented next Wednesday, September 19 at the Billion Plaza
Museum and Cultural Center. It starts at 6:30pm.
Gila County Historical Museum Director Donna Anderson will
discuss research on the cemetaries in the area. She will also share stories
about some of the searches she has made for people wanting to find their beginnings,
and stories of some of the very early burial sites that are acattered all over
the area.
The Hardscrabble presentations are held on the second
Wednesday of every month. There is no admission charge and light refreshmants
are served following the programs.
