Three people were killed in a plane crash near Strawberry.
An Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter found the
wreckage Saturday morning in Calf Pen Canyon.
The student pilot and passenger were residents of the
Netherlands. The flight instructor was from the Phoenix area.
An FAA spokesman says the plane apparently hit a cliff wall.
A Gila County Sheriff’s Office search and rescue team hiked
to the site and determined there were no survivors.
