The 2012 Fall Festival takes place this weekend in downtown
Globe.
Tonight (Friday) is Family Fun Night from 5 to 8:pm. There will be
hayrides, a carnival, a Food Court and a Carnival Toy Store. There will also be
competitions including a Bring Your Own Pumpkin carving contest, along with
chili and cornbread and other competitions.
The haunted 1910 historic jail will be open tonight and
tomorrow night from 7 until 11.
Saturday’s events include the 14th annual Ghosts
of Globe downtown walking tour, starting at the Old Courthouse every 15 minutes
between 6:30 and 8:pm.
