Globe City Council meets Monday at 6:pm.
The agenda includes the VFW Buddy Poppy Day Proclamation for
November 9 and 10; a presentation by Jane Eck about the Globe Active Adult Center’s
Holiday Meal Campaign; and the Ribbon Cutting for the solar panels at the Wastewater
Treatment Plant.
The Council will discuss and possibly approve the purchase
of a land parcel from Gila County for $1 to be used for transportation and
flood control.
They will also consider purchasing mobile radios and
equipment for the Globe Police Department.
There will be an Executive Session to discuss applications for
City Manager.
