Early this morning Globe Police responded to a report of an
attempted suicide at the Budget Inn Motel. The person was taken to Cobre Valley
Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Scott
Thompson on failure to comply warrants for a bad check and for DUI with a
suspended license.
The Gila County Task Force arrested 30 year old Andrew Ortiz
on failure to pay warrants for disorderly conduct and driving with a suspended
license.
The Gila County Constable’s Office arrested 38 year old
Christopher Myers on a failure to pay DUI warrant.
A deputy took a report of a theft that occurred in
Wheatfields. The deputy conducted a followup investigation and located the
stolen item.
Deputies are investigating a fraud report taken at a
residence on Euclid.
Globe Police arrested 35 year old Charlotte Martinez on a
failure to comply warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers are investigating a burglary on Banker Avenue; a
theft at the Santee Street Circle K; shoplifting at Walmart; and a harassment
report taken on Maple Street.
