On Wednesday the Miami Hardscrabble series presents a talk by Donna Anderson. She will discuss the Bullion Plaza Museum and Cultural Center’s
newest display—the original Linotype machine purchased by the
Arizona Silver Belt in the mid-1930’s.
Donna’s discussion will include the history of the two major
newspapers in the area over the years, the Arizona Silver Belt and the Arizona
Record. She will also talk about why the Linotype was a major development in
newspaper history.
The program is free. It’s at the Bullion Plaza starting at
6:30pm.
