An international fraud investigation into cyber theft includes
stolen credit card information from Arizona Bashas’ customers.
KVOA-TV reports that the thieves apparently used ‘malware’
never seen before. They used the software to duplicate credit card numbers and then use
the numbers to buy prepaid cards.
The FBI says it is searching for three suspects.
Bashas’ says that the malware has been contained. But the
grocery chain urges its customers to closely monitor their debit and credit
card transactions and report any unusual activity.
