Globe Arrests Linked to Multiple Burglaries

The Globe Police Department has issued a press release about several people who have been taken into custody in connection with various burglaries in the local area.

On Sunday, officers apprehended 31 year old Kenneth Wallen after a burglary from an automobile at the Globe School District bus barn.

Officers followed up by visiting the residence where Wallen was believed  to live.  There they contacted other persons of interest related to other burglaries, including two burglaries at the VFW. Also in plain view were items believed to be connected with a theft of copper. The copper turned out to have been stolen from a copper sheeted roof on South Hill Street.

After getting a search warrant, items were discovered that linked the residents to other burglaries and  theft of copper. This led to the arrest of 44 year old Sean Ahern and 31 year old David Colyott for their involvement in multiple burglaries in the area.

Globe Police are following additional leads and other details of the investigation cannot be relaesed at this time.
