Tonight (Monday) the Miami Town Council will have a Joint
Work Session and then a Joint Meeting with the Town of Miami Municipal Property
Corporation. It starts at 6:00. This will be followed by a Regular Meeting of
the Miami Town Council.
They will consider authorizing a $958,000 debt to help pay
for acquiring and constructing a
wastewater collection facility. They will also consider authorizing the
negotiation of a US government note for financing the project.
The Regular Meeting includes approval of the design for the
Town of Miami entry sign.
