Globe City Council meets tonight (Monday) at 6:00.
Presentations include recognition by the White Mountain
Masonic Lodge of Sgt. “A.J.” Castaneda as Officer of the Year.
The Council will proclaim May 3 Day of Prayer and May 11 as
Letter Carriers Food Drive Day.
There will be a Public Hearing about a proposed Access to
Care Fee which would only affect Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center.
The Council will consider a Resolution that sets a date for
a municipal election, inlcuding the deadline for voter registration, and the
place and last date for candidates to file nomination papers.
The agenda also includes authorization to increase the
City’s water and wastewater utility
rates.
