The Globe Unified School District announces that the walking
and running track will be resurfaced beginning on Monday (April 8). The track
will be closed for about two weeks. The District says the resurfacing will
extend the life of the track another five to seven years.
The community is encouraged to continue to use the track
after it is resurfaced. But they ask that you follow a few simple rules to make
sure the track will last longer:
No bikes, rollerblades or skateboards.
Please use the outside three lanes to preserve the inside lanes for the school track team.
Pick up any trash you have brought with you.
And no pets allowed.
