Police Log


Friday night medical personnel took a non-tribal victim to the hospital who had been stabbed in the San Carlos area. The case is under investigation.

Local fire agencies put out a shed fire early Sunday morning at a residence at Copper Canyon Ranches.

A structure fire was put out Friday morning at a residence on Euclid Avenue.

A small brush fire was put out  Friday morning in the area of Old Oak and Locomotive.

There was an injury accident yesterday afternoon on Highway 60 at Seven Mile Wash.

Nobody was hurt in a minor accident yesterday afternoon near the Claypool Circle K
.
No injuries were reported in a two vehicle accident yesterday on Broad Street.

No injuries were reported in several accidents in Globe on Friday. These included a single vehicle accident on Highway 70; two collisions on Highway 60; and an accident at the Highway 60 and 188 junction.

Yesterday the Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35 year old De Etta Montoya of Snowflake at Pueblo Heights Mobile Home Park on a Navajo County warrant for resisting arrest, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two people were arrested  at Sunrise Mobile Home Park yesterday. 33 year old Joshua Ensworth was charged with burglary. 43 year old Ignacio Renteria was arrested for burglary and also had a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. Renteria had a Maricopa County warrant for issuing bad checks.

40 year old Robin Gapa was cited for driving with a suspended license.

Two people were arrested after a disturbance Saturday at a residence on Calle De Loma. 59 year old Joseph Armendariz and 52 year old Sarah Armendariz were both charged with disorderly conduct/domestic violence.

79 year old Art Wilder was cited and released Saturday for disorderly conduct.

24 year old Destry Phillips was cited and released for driving with a suspended license.

28 year old Curtis Henderson was cited and released for criminal speed.

Deputies are investigating a report of possible child neglect taken in the area of Pueblo Heights; a report of counterfeit money at the Claypool Circle K; criminal damage at the Kellner Canyon group reservation area; criminal damage at a residence on Hamilton; criminal damage to a vehicle on Roberts Drive; a delayed theft report taken at a residence on El Camino; and a burglary at a residence on Old Oak.

On Saturday Globe Police arrested 43 year old Sheryl Robles for arson of an occupied structure.

22 year old Marlin Nosie was arrested for DUI at McDonalds.

On Friday 43 year old Holly Pitman was arrested at a traffic stop for fictitious plates.

Officers are investigating shoplifting at a business on Highway 60; criminal damage at a business on  Oak Street; criminal damage in the area of Main Street; a theft at a residence on Desert Drive; and a delayed theft report taken at a residence on North Street.

San Carlos Police arrested 36 year old Paul Montolla on a child support warrant.
