The Globe Police Department has recently been investigating
a 25 year old cold case homicide.
The investigation into the 1988 death of Rachelle Escalante has remained open. During the past few weeks
several investigative resources have become available. These include a Texas
prosecutor, a retired Texas homicide investigator, a Nevada crime scene
investigator, an Illinois crime lab and a Pennsylvania DNA lab.
The investigation has been selected by TNT television to be
documented and recorded as part of an unscripted procedural drama to be
broadcast beginning in September. Parts of the investigation have been recorded
by a television crew to be aired under the name “Cold Justice.”
The case is still open and the investigation is still
ongoing. If you have any information about the death of Rachelle Escalante in
1988, you are encouraged to contact Sgt. James Durnan with the Globe Police
Department.
I hope that Rochelles familly finally gets justice
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing TNT wanted to do a show or this may have never been brought up....her family deserves some sort of justice ...I hope those who know anything come forward...doesn't just about everyone in Globe know who did this? There was enough gossip over years about it....Rest in Peace Rochelle
ReplyDeleteglobe pd couldn't catch a cold they wont solve this they should have pre school kids do it
ReplyDeletethe girls mom was messing around with one of the prosecuters nothing else needs to be said
ReplyDeletesounds like she hit up all the dudes
DeleteYou obviously don't know your head from your hole in your ass
Deletethey washed the black trans am behind mighty nice bakery to get rid of evidence
ReplyDeletethey will be arrested soon long time coming god bless this little girl
ReplyDeleteThis is so incredibly sad. Small town crimes filled with cops that don't care enough to actually work. The globe police department to this day does nothing but harass children, pick on the poor, hide on the side of the road, and yet STILL refuses to do anything that requires them to be productive. Hope this case gets solved for this poor family. Since everyone seems to know who did it....shouldn't be a hard case to solve one REAL professionals are taking the case.
ReplyDelete"NOT GUILTY"
ReplyDelete"REAL PROFESSIONALS" took the case, "NOT GUILTY"
ReplyDeleteIf justice doesn't come in this life, God almighty will have the last word.
ReplyDeleteIf it wasn't for globe haters we would have a zero population!! Everyone posting their untrue comments, spreading rumors and gossip obviously needs to get a life! ! WILL this horrible, tragic incident ever let this little girl finally Rest In Peace!! YOUR right GOD will have the last word, and he will also have the last word on everyone spreading rumors and the ones THAT JUDGE!! God Bless
ReplyDeleteI saw the show on cold justice on Rochelle escalante. one investegator told globe pd investegators to get all paperwork & notes they have gathered put them back in folder back in files cause they done all they can on this case... WHAT HOMICIDE INVESTAGATOR DOES THAT.............. San Diego,California.. maybe our Homicide Dept. should pick up the pieces
ReplyDeleteMAYBE that's true, and its Rachelle Escalante! ! But MAYBE everyone might allow this little girls family to be able to find some kind of peace and closure to this tragic loss, and allow Rachelle to finally Rest In Peace. Don't you think this family has been through enough?? I could never imagine the pain her family went through, and is still going through !! Im sure she's in each and every thought, each and every day, loosing a child is I'm sure one of the worst pains in this world!! These professional homicide detectives are experts and it was so important for this case to find closure! ! No one is happy with the results, and there was also a innocent family that was again drug through the dirt ! ! So two families had to relive this most horrible loss but with all said and done has anyone sincerely gave condolences, and prayed for closure!! I don't believe so?? So still this familys hearts has to feel negative remarks from this community. First it was downing Globe P.D. now the investigators, but what else can you expect from people in globe! ! God Bless Rachael and her Family
ReplyDeleteas I learned that the cold justice investigate group left the case as soon as they heard that around the time when the crime happened somebody saw a yellow big truck passed through that road, as trucks can injure a pedestrian's neck as a fatal injury did happened to Rachelle's head, BUT, as far as I learned that - a truck would not hit a pedestrian's heel, only a small car wud hit a pedestrian's heel ! as the head injury, possibly occurred when she fell down on the road. if u r not sure, CHECK OUT THIS ARTICLE !!! --http://chicagoinjurycenter.com/truck-accidents/injuries/pedestrians/
