One person was taken to Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center
after a two vehicle collision yesterday afternoon on Highway 60. One driver was
cited for failure to control speed to a avoid a collision. One car was towed.
There was a three vehicle accident yesterday morning on
North Broad Street.
Nobody was hurt in a one vehicle accident last night near
the Globe Dog Park.
Officers are investigating a report of shoplifting at a
business on East Ash.
Gila County Sheriff’s Deputies and medical personnel
responded to a report of an assault at the Shamrock Bar late Wednesday night. One
person was taken to Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center. 55 year old Rick
Ortega was arrested, cited and released for disorderly conduct.
The Sheriff’s Office served two warrants to 25 year old
inmate Anthony Stewart for failure to pay on a charge of driving under the
influence of drugs and failure to pay on charges of driving with a suspended
license and false reporting to law enforcement.
Deputies took a theft report at a residence on Sharps Road.
