Globe Police responded to several traffic accidents on
Friday. Two accidents ocurred in the noon hour. They were in the area of North Street and on East Ash.
Two other accidents on North Broad Street occurred around
2:00 and around 4:00.
Another accident occurred just before 4:00 on Mesquite
Street.
Heavy smoke was reported early Friday morning in the area of
Silver Hills and Irene’s Wash. It turned out to be a smoldering old mine shaft
on BLM property.
Last night Globe Police arrested 50 year old Lyle Pahe for
trespassing at a business on Highway 60.
32 year old Kenneth Irving was arrested at a business on
Highway 60 Friday night for domestic violence/assault.
32 year old Katherine Shorten was arrested for shoplifting Friday afternoon at a business
on Highway 60. 30 year old Cassandra Wesely was also arrested for organized
retail theft in connection with a previous incident at the same business.
24 year old Orlando Tuffly
was charged with shoplifting from a business on Highway 70.
Officers are investigating criminal damage in the area of
Jess Hayes Road and a delayed burglary report taken at a residence on East
Mesquite Street.
Miami Police arrested 27 year old Adam Keller on a warrant
for disorderly conduct.
Yesterday the Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year
old Florentino Cassa on a contempt of court warrant for false reporting to law
enforcement.
Deputies are investigating criminal damage to a window on
English Avenue; criminal damage to a residence on Monroe Lane; a burglary on First
Avenue and a theft at a residence on Springfield.
Wisconsin State Capitol Police arrested 30 year old Mathew
Miller of Globe on a failure to appear warrant for a dangerous crime against
children, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 year old Mark
Otis of Miami on warrants for domestic violence/disorderly conduct and assault.
