The Elizabeth Zache Memorial Keystone Stair Climb begins
Saturday (June 22) at 6:am.
Elizabeth Zache loved climbing the Keystone stairs on her
birthday. She conquered the stairs in 5 minutes and 9 seconds on her 90th
birthday. She climbed them in 8 minutes and 14 seconds on her 96th
birthday.
She passed away on January 23.
This Saturday’s climb is not a timed event and there are no
trophies. Reservations are not required. The event falls on what would have
been Elizabeth’s 97th birthday.
Everybody will meet on the corner of Keystone Avenue and
Gibson Street in Miami on Saturday at 6:am.
