The City of Globe will have a Special Joint City Council and
Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting today (Monday) at 5:pm. It includes a
presentation by Felipe Zubia of Reseed Advisors and Arizona Urban Land
Institute Executive Director Deb Sydenham.
A Globe City Council Work Session follows at 6:00. It
includes annual updates from the Gila County Historical Society, the Southern
Gila County Economic Development Corporation, the Center for the Arts and Globe
Mainstreet.
The agenda also includes an Intergovernmental Agreement with
Gila County to provide funding for Meals on Wheels and On Site Diners who live
in Gila County but outside the Globe City Limits.
