Tonto National Forest officials are requesting public
comment on the Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis for the Phillips Asbestos
Mines, Mill and Mining Camp Site located in the Globe Ranger District.
The deadline for comments is Monday, July 15.
The purpose of the report is to present a detailed analysis
of asbestos cleanup alternatives
Copies of the report are available online at the Tonto
National Forest website.
