Herbicide Applied This Week at Central Heights Cemetery

The Gila County Health and Emergency Services Division announces that herbicide will be applied this week at the Central Heights Cemetery.

One herbicide that will be used is blue in color but it will not permanently discolor any of the markers or headstones.

To ensure public safety, they ask that everyone respect the barriers that will be in place during the herbicide application.

Adverse reactions to the herbicides are extremely rare, but the Gila County Health Division recommends that you wait 24 hours after the application to visit the cemetery.
