The Gila County Sheriff’s Office has issued more information
about the drug raid that occurred in Globe over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Gila County Drug, Gang and Violent Crimes Task
Force, the Sheriff’s Office, Globe PD,
the County Attorney’s Office, and the Department of Public Safety SWAT team,
executed a search warrant at a residence on Haskins Road.
Six people were taken into custody. About 13 grams of Methamphetamine
was seized, along with three firearms and numerous drug paraphernalia items.
Charges include possession of dangerous drugs for sale, misconduct involving
weapons, participating in a criminal street gang, and aggravated assault.
The investigation is still going on and more information may
be released later.
