The Globe Community Center is hosting a bicycle race around
the park this Saturday (October 19) from 9:am to 2:pm.
Everybody is invited to participate or to bring a lawn chair
and watch.
Children 18 and under will get to race for free. Adults will
be required to pay a $10 insurance fee to ride or you can race in the three lap
“Fun Ride.” If you want to compete against the experts who are coming to town
you will need to pay a $35 entry fee plus the insurance fee.
All bicycle riders will need to have a helmet and the
bicycles must not have bar-ends or pegs.
Children under 18 will need to have a parent present to sign
a waiver.
