Gila County Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd has announced the appointment of Lieutenant
Mike Johnson to the position of Undersheriff.
Lt. Johnson has been with the Gila County Sheriff’s Office
since 1990. He has been a Detention Officer, Patrol Deputy, Field Training
Officer, Firearms Instructor, and Training Coordinator.
As Undersheriff, Lt.
Johnson will be responsible for the Field Services Bureau which includes
Patrol, Dispatch, and Criminal Investigations for Gila County.
