Police Log

Nobody was hurt in a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Highway 60.

Yesterday the US Forest Service arrested 36 year old Christopher Esparza of Globe on a failure to pay warrant for assault; a failure to pay warrant for disorderly conduct; and a contempt of court warrant for DUI.

On Saturday the Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old George Snelling for  burglary and possession of stolen property.

44 year old Tony Smith of Tucson was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property and a Department of Corrections warrant for forgery.

56 year old Phil Lopez was arrested on a child support warrant.

Deputies are investigating a report of a stolen vehicle taken at a residence on Apache Hills Lane; burglaries on Mountain View and at Holiday Hills Mobile Home Park; a theft at a residence on Beer Tree; and criminal damage at  residences on Central, Utility Street, Railroad Avenue and Calle De Loma.

Globe Police were dispatched to a business on South Street late Saturday night after a call about an intoxicated man refusing to leave the premises. They arrested 37 year old DeWayne Wilson of New Mexico for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Wilson also had outstanding warrants from Navajo County for possession of drug paraphernalia.

31 year old Courtney Gutierrez and 36 year old Verdell Gutierrez were arrested Saturday at a business on Highway 60 for organized retail theft.

26 year old Courtney Stevens was arrested Saturday for DUI.

Officers arrested two people Saturday afternoon who had outstanding warrants. 22 year old Dakota Mata and 23 year old Bracken Pina both had probation violation warrants  for burglary. Pina also had  failure to appear warrants for trafficking in stolen property and disorderly conduct.

Friday night Globe Police arrested 26 year old Nathan Lang at a residence on Linda Vista for aggravated domestic violence/assault and kidnapping. Lang also had outstanding warrants for criminal trespass, domestic violence/assault and threats and intimidation.

75 year old Bill Robles was arrested for shoplifting at a business on Highway 60.

Officers are investigating criminal damage at a business on South Street and a report of harassment taken at a business on Highway 60.

Mesa Police arrested 37 year old Erna Bead of Miami on a failure to pay warrant for issuing a bad check.

Greenlee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28 year old Sherri Scott of Globe on a failure to comply warrant for issuing a bad check.
