On Saturday the Horizon Domestic Violence Safe Home, the
High Desert Humane Society and the Gila County Health Department will host the
Annual Walk and Wag Against Abuse in downtown Globe.
The purpose of the event is to help connect the link between
domestic violence and animal abuse. It includes activities, demonstrations and
refreshments.
Feel free to dress your pup in a crazy costume and bring
your wagon to pull your pet on the walk through town .
Registration begins Saturday at 11:am at the train depot in
Globe. The walk begins at Noon and will
end by 2:pm.
The fee for the Walk and Wag is $10 and includes a pet
bandana.
