This Saturday (November 16) is Volunteer Day at the Old Dominion Historic
Mine Park.
Work will range from cleaning trails and display areas to
more specialized work such as securing exhibits and putting up signage.
The work will take place from 8:am until around noon. Be
sure to wear long pants and closed toe shoes. If possible, bring gloves and
tools such as rakes, hoes and clippers that can be used on the trails.
All volunteers are welcome. If your community or civic group
would like to participate, please leave your contact information with the
Chamber of Commerce at 425-4495.
