The Gila County Sheriff’s Office has released more
information about a 911 call received Tuesday evening.
Around 7:pm a man identified as Eric Spencer reported that
he and several women and children were being held hostage by a man named
Charles Fee. Fee was holding them hostage because he thought Spencer had stolen
a gun from him. Fee said he would not allow anyone to leave until the gun was
returned.
Deputies arrived and took Fee into custody without incident.
He was charged with domestic violence disorderly conduct, assault, and threats
and intimidation.
