The Gila County Sheriff’s Office has released an update
about the suspicious envelope that was delivered to the Pine-Strawberry Water
Improvement District Office.
An Arizona Department of Public Safety Haz Mat team
determined that the envelope contained some type of pulverized corn chips.
There was no danger to the public or the employees of the water district
.
The Gila County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the
incident to determine if there was any criminal activity.
