The Globe Public Library will host a free four-part reading,
viewing and discussion series for adults and adolescents. It’s called “Pushing
the Limits.”
The series brings together books and video featuring
authors, scientists and everyday people who explore the natural world.
The Introductory Session will be held on Thursday (May 1) at
6:pm at the library. Other discussions and events will be held on Thursday
evenings until August 28.
The Globe Public Library is one of twenty public libraries
across the country receiving grants as pilot sites to host the series that will
be extended to 100 more rural libraries in the United States.
