The San Pedro River Festival is this Saturday (May 3) in Winkelman. It’s sponsored by the Arizona
Audubon Society, the Nature Conservancy and Copper Corridor Economic Development
Coalition.
The day-long family event is for nature lovers, birders, and
anyone who wants to spend a beautiful day outdoors enjoying the area near the San Pedro and Gila Rivers.
The Festival includes free live entertainment and a kids
activity zone at the Winkelman Flats public park on the Gila River. That’s just
south of the junction of State Route 77 and State Route 177.
