The Arizona Department of Transportation began a project in
November to reconstruct the Dripping Springs Wash Bridge on State Route 77,
eight miles north of Winkelman.
The project is now halfway complete and is on schedule to be
finished mid-summer.
Work is being done on half the bridge at a time. The
northbound lane has just been completed. Work is now shifting to the southbound
portion of the bridge and traffic will be using the newly constructed northbound
lane.
A traffic signal is regulating traffic across the bridge in
alternating directions.
Work hours are 6:am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday.
