Globe PD has received a report from a citizen about a telephone scam. The caller claims to be affiliated with the Globe Police Department and that he is calling to collect money to sponsor police functions. It appears at this time that the caller is targeting businesses in the local area.
Globe PD says it does not solicit donations. It is recommended that if you receive such a call, don’t give the caller any information.
