Globe City Council meets tonight (Monday) at 6:00. They will discuss and possibly adopt a new name for the Globe Senior Center based on the results of the “Name the Senior Center” contest.
They will also consider a Resolution through the League of Arizona Cities and Towns asking the state Legislature to not further reduce the Highway User Revenue Fund allocations.
The City will honor Officer Mike Boyd for Excellence in the Line of Duty and Reverend Dale Lawrence of Central Christian Church for Outstanding Citizen Involvement.
Arizona Public Service will give a presentation about the Final Closure of the Globe Manufactured Gas Plant Site.
