Police Log

Miami Police responded to an ATV accident with injuries on Indian Circle. This call resulted in an investigation into an aggravated assault with weapons. No arrests have been made at this time.

Miami Police took a report of a burglary on Smith Street.

Yesterday morning Globe Police arrested two people for taking items out of the Salvation Army donation box. 45 year old Vonda Waldron and 56 year old Ivan Wilson were charged with theft. Wilson also had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia involving methamphetamine.

24 year old Scott Powell was arrested last night for reckless driving.

Saturday afternoon Globe Police were dispatched to Dairy Queen about an intoxicated man harassing and grabbing customers. 47 year old Paul Pahe was arrested for assault.

24 year old Irving Stanley was arrested for shoplifting at a business on East Ash.

Three accidents on Friday resulted in citations: a two vehicle accident at Ash and Hackney, an injury accident on East Ash, and a non injury accident at Third and Cottonwood.

43 year old Sam Hinton and 34 year old Jerry Hinton were arrested Friday night in the area of Cedar and Hill Streets. Sam Hinton was arrested for outstanding warrants and Jerry Hinton was charged with trafficking in stolen property.

Globe Police arrested 23 year old Joseph Martinez for trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Officers are investigating criminal damage to a vehicle on North Broad Street and an assault at a business on East Ash.

On Saturday a vehicle went through a fence and struck another vehicle in the area of Scott Avenue. 30 year old Christopher Howell and 37 year old James Howell were arrested for DUI.

27 year old James Thompson was arrested Saturday for domestic violence and disorderly conduct after a disturbance at a residence on Hopi Drive.

On Friday the Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22 year old Patrick Taraba on warrants for probation violation, and disorderly conduct and assault.

38 year old inmate Donald Tuttle was served warrants for failure to appear on charges of identity theft, and for failure to comply and contempt of court for DUI.

Deputies are investigating criminal damage at a residence in Six Shooter Canyon.

  1. The article posted about two people taking items from salvation army box is untrue the items were taken from off the ground in the parking lot, which isn't theft.
