Globe Public Library is having free workshops for parents, parents-to-be, grandparents and all care givers of children up to 5 years of age.
On Monday from 10 until 11:am there will be a workshop focusing on five simple practices to help children develop early literacy skills.
At another workshop the following Monday (December 12) families in the Globe-Miami area will have the opportunity to sign up for First Things First Imagination Library. Each child will receive a free book every month in the mail.
These workshops are provided by the Gila County Library District and your local public library.
