Police Log


A driver was cited after a single vehicle accident Saturday morning on Oak Street.

Nobody was hurt in a two vehicle accident Saturday evening at a business on Highway 60.

There were no injuries in a hit and run accident Friday night near the Shamrock Bar.

Tri City, Canyon and Globe Fire Departments responded to a structure fire Friday night on Wheatfields Road. The house was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.

Globe Police received a call yesterday evening requesting assistance for a nurse with an out of control woman at a residence on Escudilla Drive. 63 year old Linda Hom was arrested for domestic violence/disorderly conduct.

21 year old Hillary Garcia was arrested for disorderly conduct last night at a residence on South Devereaux.

On Saturday 28 year old Myron Starr was arrested for criminal damage at a business on Jesse Hayes Road.

Globe Police arrested 35 year old Adam Contreras for assault Friday afternoon in the area of Jesse Hayes Road.

45 year old Douglas Bernardin was arrested for disorderly conduct and threats at a residence on East Prickly Pear Drive.

23 year old Leticia  Brown was arrested Friday for shoplifting at the Highway 60 Safeway.

Officers are investigating a theft at the Community Center; a counterfeit bill reported at a business on North Broad Street; a burglary at a residence on East Sycamore; a theft at a business on Jesse Hayes Road; and shoplifting at a business on East Ash.

Miami Police arrested 32 year old Crystal Warren for disorderly conduct.

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people yesterday afternoon at a residence on Central Avenue. 31 year old Thomas Muir was arrested for criminal damage.  21 year old Lacey Duensing was charged with domestic violence/disorderly conduct, criminal damage and assault.

20 year old Dustin Stover was arrested on a probation violation warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies responded to a call Saturday night about a man attempting suicide with a knife. The man was located near Black Warrior and Roberts Drive. He was taken to the hospital by Tri City Ambulance and the report is under investigation.

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a domestic incident at a residence on Yuma Trail and a theft at a residence on Cooley Ranch Road.

Mesa Police arrested 50 year old Raymond Gerardo of Globe on a child support warrant.
