Cobre Valley Institute of Technology has openings in some of
their central programs, including the popular programs of Fire Science and
Cosmetology. Other programs include Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing
Assistant, Welding, and Graphic Design.
The programs are offered through a partnership with
Gila Community College. There is no cost to the student for these programs
except for Cosmetology. But the fees for the Cosmetology program have been
significantly reduced.
The programs are open to high school juniors and seniors
from Globe, Miami, San Carlos, Hayden and Superior. Classes begin on August 7.
