The Arizona Department of Transportation begins a
project today (Thursday) to reconstruct the Dripping Springs Wash Bridge.
The bridge is 13 miles north of Winkelman on State Route 77.
Work will be conducted on half the bridge at a time, with
one lane regulated by a traffic signal. Work hours will be 7:am to 5:pm Monday through
Thursday.
Motorists will experience short delays with narrowed traffic
lanes, a reduced speed limit and wide load restrictions.
The $2 million project is scheduled for completion in July
of 2014.
