Miami Override Passes

The Miami Unified School District override has passed.  The final votes were 738 Yes and 530 No.

The Miami School District says this means they will be able to continue art, music, P.E., band, junior high athletics and maintain class sizes.

    Miami USD needs to live within our means to foot their tab. The allegedly "educated" leadership Miami USD surely can come up with some new and brilliant way to work within the confines of a budget. Every last taxpayer trapped within Miami USD boundaries MUST live according to the means available. The taxpayer has nowhere to turn for budget overrides. Deal with it Miami USD and stop hitting us up for MORE every last time you figure you're entitled to.
