AARP Arizona is planning to expand its fraud education
program beyond Maricopa and Pima counties.
Their Community Educators Program
uses trained volunteers to give presentations to communities and organizations.
Public News Service reports that the AARP Fraud Watch Network
features a website, FraudWatchNetwork.org. Those who sign up receive regular
fraud alerts, along with tips about how to avoid being victimized and other
resources.
AARP Arizona is looking for volunteers to expand its
presentations throughout the state. If you would like to volunteer to be a
presenter or to request a community presentation, call the AARP state office at
1-866-389-5649.
