Memorial Day Potluck

The American Legion Post and the VFW Post invite the community to a Memorial Day potluck on Monday, May 26 at Veterans Memorial Park in Globe. It starts at 11:am.

The American Legion is hosting a Spaghetti dinner tomorrow (Friday) from 5 to 7:pm.

Proceeds go to the Sons of the American Legion programs.

Mother's Day Dinner

The American Legion Auxiliary is hosting a special Mother’s Day Dinner on Friday starting at 5:pm.

The cost is $7, which includes a chance to win a basket of goodies.

American Legion Bike Day

The American Legion Riders are hosting a bike day on Saturday (April 26), beginning with breakfast at 9:am.

There will also be a barbecue at Noon, live music and raffles.

Fish Fry Dinners Every Friday Through April 18

Friday Fish Fry dinners continue through April 18 at the American Legion Post.

It’s from 5 to 7:pm and costs $7.

New Year's Eve Dance at American Legion Post

The American Legion is hosting a New Year’s Eve Dance on Tuesday from 8:pm until Midnight.

Music will be provided by Neto Vasquez and the Imagines.

Tickets are $15 for singles and $30 a couple. They are available by calling 425-7946.

Globe VFW and American Legion Veterans Day Ceremony

The Globe VFW Post and the American Legion Post will have their annual Veterans Day ceremony today (Monday) at 11:00 at Veterans Park in Globe.

A lunch will be served following the event at the VFW hall.

The American Legion Riders are having a Fish Fry today (Friday) at 5:pm at the American Legion Post. Everyone is invited. 

It’s $8 a person for all you can eat.

The American Legion will host a St. Patrick’s Day dinner on Sunday from 5 to 7:pm at the American Legion Post.

The cost is $7 a plate.

American Legion Auxiliary Pancake Breakfast

The American Legion Auxiliary will have a pancake breakfast on Saturday starting at 7:30am.

A door prize will be given out every hour from 8:am until 1:pm. There will also be live music, a bake sale,  and a raffle for a beautiful patriotic quilt.

Proceeds will help send five local girls to the Girls State program in June.

The Fish Fry is from 5 to 8:pm. The bake sale is from 2 to 7:pm.

The bake sale is raising money for the Girl State program.

The American Legion in Globe will have a hamburger fry on Saturday starting at 4:pm.

The cost is $8 a person. Proceeds will go to cemetery flags for Memorial Day.

Flag Disposal Event on Saturday

The American Legion will have a flag disposal event on Saturday at 11:am.

Food will be available and donations will be accepted.

Sweetheart Spaghetti Dinner

The American Legion Auxiliary is having a Sweetheart Dinner tomorrow night (Friday) from 5:30 until 7:30. The cost is $8 a person for a spaghetti dinner with wine and dessert.

Memorial Day Ceremony

The American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are having a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday (May 30) at 11:am. It’s at Veterans Memorial Park at Globe City Hall.

The Women’s Auxillary is hosting a pot luck meal immediately following the ceremony at the American Legion Post.
