Apache Jii Coming October 19

The 30th Annual Apache Jii event will take place in downtown Globe on Saturday, October 19. It starts at 9:am and continues until 4:30pm.

The old courthouse will be the central location for the day’s festivities.

You’ll see the talented Hoop Dancers and the  Apache Crown Dancers, and hear music from flute players and other musicians. There will also be plenty of arts and crafts.

The food varies from Apache fry bread and Indian tacos to acorn stew.

There is no admission charge.

Apache Jii Is This Saturday

The 28th annual Apache Jii festival this Saturday in Globe will feature Native American dancers, royalty, arts and crafts, entertainment and lots of food. The opening ceremony is at 9:am.

The all day event features the Yellow Bird Dancers of Mesa, Zuni pottery dancers, flute players and more entertainment throughout the day.

Native American vendors feature silver and turquoise jewelry, wood carvings, sand paintings and more.

Apache Jii is This Saturday

The 27th annual Apache Jii celebration begins at 9:am Saturday in downtown Globe. The Broad Street street fair will feature booths with jewelry, painting, beading, wood and stone carving. Food booths will have everything from Apache fry bread and Indian tacos to acorn stew. Entertainment will continue throughout the day. There is no admission charge.
